After achieving third place in the FIM X-Trial World Championship, Jeroni arrived at the appointment full of confidence and with the intention of improving the seventh place in the first race of the national contest held in Manacor de la Vall. A very demanding route, with areas full of large steps that put in serious trouble all participants, causing the Sigüenza was a trial with quite high scores.

Jeroni Fajardo was fighting for podium positions throughout the day. In the first of the laps Fajardo accumulated 24 points after scoring two fiascos in two of the last three zones. Until then, the trial of the pilot of Vertigo was being very solid and with few errors.

Already in the second round to the twelve zones that made up the route, Jeroni could substantially improve. Knowing that he had to do his best to have options to get on the podium, Fajardo knew how to learn from the first round to score only 17 points in the second, third best score of the round, which however, in the end was not worth to be placed also among the three best of the trial, being fifth with the same points as Jorge Casales (Beta), which would be fourth thanks to the greater number of zeros accumulated in the passage through the different areas. Jeroni finished with 41 points, four more than the third classified.

After this result Jeroni remains in the seventh position of the provisional SPEA RFME Championship of Spain of Trial, shortening differences with respect to the pilots that precede it.

The next race for the TR1 drivers will be on June 11 in Arnedillo, La Rioja.
